The theme
“Culture and creativity, industry or craft: what future for Martinique?”
Should we think of culture and creation in Martinique as an industry, with its sectors, jobs and markets, or as a craft, bound to know-how and to the territory? I will share my view as a technologist and entrepreneur in culture and creativity, drawn from two organisations. ANISOTROPIE, the non-profit: motion capture, heritage digitisation, artist residencies. And Cariality Studios, the studio: performance capture, real time in Unreal Engine, virtual reality, and Detective Philibert, an investigation set in 1890s Martinique.
